So on with the show...
Sunday night was pumpkin night.
We stayed with tradition and carved pumpkins. We strayed last year and painted. Wasn't feelin' the Halloween love. Carving is much more fun. Everyone lined up their pumpkins and told Daddy what they wanted. Except Eric. He went to town on his own. Actually butchered it. Troy being the best Daddy he is ran to Walgreens to get a carving kit so he could cut the little pieces out.
I've been goin to town with apple desserts so Mila and I made Apple Caramel Cookie bars that night to go along with hot chocolate and marshmallows.
..........
Yesterday was the awards ceremony at school. All the kids got Perfect Attendance which I swear is wrong and Damian got his second Accelerated Reader award. He gets another dog tag to hang from his lanyard. The huge smile on his face was the best part.
I loved seeing all 3 boys sitting with their classmates together. Standing up and waving to each other. It was the cutest. So proud of all of them.

Now about that certain vampire.
We had so much fun at the movie marathon. The kids had the best time. I think the guys did too. Not sure. Jamie and I were in the other living room upstairs staring at Edward and her drooling over Jacob. You were, right? Or was it the picture of him on the plate? Or maybe the yummy strawberries. We may never know...
It really was fun. Even though someone tried to scare me with crappy rug burn information, even though everywhere I turned I saw black mouse ears and the guys boycotting against my Eclipse plates and black mesothelioma napkins.
BUT we did learn when we hit up Disneyland we can take the whole party with us to the front of the line! We get to visit City Hall and because of Damian's autism and the trouble he would have waiting in line we get to get up front. Now I'm thinking that's the only reason Jamie and Ricardo wanna go!
So we ate, we watched, turned our heads at certain parts, made fun of, watched Mila play drums with colored pencils and me falling in love with the crushed ice in the icemaker.
