Valentines Day the Montreuil way

It started with a huge vase full of a dozen beautiful roses! I love fresh flowers in the house. These sit up high on the island so Max can't torture them with his nose.

Damian and I worked on his diorama for school. He had to build his crocodile's habitat in a shoebox and show how that animal camoflauge's himself. We had so much fun doing it.

The finished project! Eric helped staple the "moss".

Troy and Brandon started painting the model airplanes Santa brought the kids last year! Troy loved doing this with them and I think it'll be a tradition on Saturdays for them.

Max and Mila tried being a part of it but it didn't always work out. Mila threw moss on the floor and Max was painting with watercolors and making "chocolate milk" in his water cup. Eric decided to make an appearance after cleaning his room.

Then my mom came over and Troy and I were off for our V-day date! Since we're trying to be more frugal these days, I was able to come up with a plan for our date with discounts! We went to the sushi place by our house because they have 50% off all the rolls! We snuck in a bento box too..sshhh!

Then I found 3 coupons for Borders off the internet. We are book freaks so it was a perfect date. We used a Seattle's Coffee BOGO free coupon for some yummy mochas with shaved white chocolate on top inside of Borders.

Then we each had a coupon for 30 and 20% off our books. We both left with 2 books each. I was so excited to find these books I've been saving on amazon.

One is about the Brain Balance program that is costly and has helped many families with autism. This doctor wrote the book for home use based on his program. I heard of it from the autism support group.

The second is a book by Temple Grandin who has a Ph.D and has autism. This is only one of her many books I would love to get. It was recommended by the woman I met at the transition meeting. I hope to hear her speak one day. She also created a more smooth and easier transition for cattle on ranches by using the techniques she learned through her own therapy with a squeeze machine. Inspiring and gives us hope.

Then thanks to my wonderful mama..I'll have beautiful skin like Susan Lucci! Can't wait to try this tonight!

Hope you had a fun Vday! xoxo
