We went to dinner with my parents and Matt and it was a nice break from all the chaos. The kids were so well behaved. They always are but as they get older it shows much more. No whining, no being impatient.
Except the conversation Max had with our waitress.
Max- "That applesauce was so good."
Waitress- "I'm glad you liked it!"
Max- "Where's my spaghetti?"
Waitress- "Give me about 5 minutes and I'll bring it out ok?"
Max- "Aw come on! Not 5 minutes. 1 minute."
Waitress- giggling.
He means it lady.
I was worried about what I was going to eat in an Italian establishment. I went with half a meatball and a few bites of broccoli. Dessert for me now is decaf coffee which tastes like heaven when you don't brew it yourself!
I'm still working on not eating with my eyes. As I was ordering I was thinking "That's not enough food!" 3 months ago the meatball would have been on TOP of my entree. I miss it sometimes. But not while the meatball is literally stuck in my throat.

After a loooong day, I sat down with the kids and peeled broken crayons. It was actually relaxing.
Peeled and broken to produce our own crayons. No wasting here. Max went through a breaking stage. Crayons mainly.
After our house smelled like a burnt wax factory we had round chunky crayons. Next time we're gonna add glitter and find fun shaped silicone pans.
Off to recuperate for another busy day.
