this week

As soon as October hits the kids ask for Halloween costumes. We always wait until the line is around the store at Party City to get ours. The wall of costumes is a little overwhelming and you feel pressured to pick a costume only to find yourself returning it the next day. Not that WE ever had to do that.

So we hit up Party City early and then the Halloween store for Damian's and Eric's.

I have never had to argue with a 4 yr old about a costume. We had butterflies on our mind a few weeks ago, Strawberry Shortcake thrown in as well and even the mention of a pink princess!

Nope.

She went in the Super Heroes path just like her brothers.

She won.

Captain America's daughter. Nice. She does look super cute though and I'm even gonna make red boot covers for her shoes. At least it's a dress.

Got to be crafty and make a blanket and baby headbands for the boy's speech teacher.

Catching up on my couponing. I usually set time aside on Sundays after I get my papers but have been swamped. So I had a HUGE pile to sort through.

Even enlisted Troy to help sort my piles for filing.

By the look on his face he wasn't thrilled. Couldn't understand why the snack pile was so broad. He did a good job but I think he's done with coupon duty.

I've been feeling slightly overwhelmed lately and am taking a day off tomorrow to recuperate and spend a little time by myself thanks to Eric. I love the men and boys in my life :) I can't call Eric a man yet.
