Birthday fun!

Yesterday was Damian's 8th bday! I cannot believe I had him 8 years ago. I got teary-eyed at 8:00 a.m. that morning thinking about waiting for him that morning in 2000. Troy was so excited, and young, waiting for him and when he came he wouldn't let him go. I remember I had a hard time after the surgery and he was right there making sure I was okay. He hasn't changed :)

My parents and Matt came by for cake and presents. All Damian wanted was Star Wars Clone Wars and a game. We kept teasing him that he was only getting books. Then he opened them.

Then cake and sleep. The decorations are still up. I'm still tired from Black Friday!!!

Saturday is his party with his classmates. I hope they show up! Troy's parents are coming down this week to see the house and come to the party so that'll be fun. Especially since I get to drive Becky and I out to the huge scrapbooking store in Rocklin!!
