I used 2 rainchecks on the juice and whole chickens. I follow many blogs about saving at the grocery store and they always have pics of their goodies! Now mind you this is only for the deals on the stuff we use often. I snuck in the corn dog box for Eric because they were half price.

My grand total was only $24.09!! I saved $29.31!
Apple juice was a buck! Then the whole chickens I got for $3.00 each. What a deal! I was so excited when I got home. They were happy to see the 3 lbs of doodleberries for $2.16!
So there's my Safeway experience for the week. I have to go grocery shopping now for the rest. It's my quiet time on Wednesdays or Thursdays, which is kinda sad, but I enjoy finding good deals and making the dollar stretch!
Damian had a fieldtrip that he was looking forward to and woke up extra early for it. He's going to a play today which he has no idea what that is. He's more excited about the bus ride there and back! He's been doing alot better as far as homework time at home. No tantrums and if there is we stop that particular part we were working on and move on.
I explained to his teacher that a child like Damian cannot have that much homework and I cannot be doing homewerk for 3 hours trying to calm him down. We want him to be successful and that won't work if he's too overloaded. Well we take our time and let him read everything and do it on his own.
It's working and he's able to finish it all. He has alot of homework for a 2nd grader in my opinion. But we're proud of him.
Max has speech and academic testing in March with EGUSD and this should be interesting.
I'm off to do my bargain shopping!
