my first refashion

Ok..scrapbooking is obviously my first talent. I was up until 1:00 a.m trying to refashion a dress for Mila. Well I got tired and finished this morning. I'm not thrilled but I suppose practice makes perfect right?? I hope.






It was supposed to be a rosette. Looks like a mangled mess, yes.

I added new straps out of some cute fabric. This dress was hard because the cotton was a stretchy clingy material. Note to self: do not use until you have mastered this skill.

aahh..my new sewing desk. It's very roomy and has a cool area that slides out on the side above the drawer where I can cut, etc. I plan to add shelving above.

Troy surprised me by letting me keep my desk on the opposite side of the room where my scrapbooking crap stuff is and bought me this one from Ikea. Now I have officially taken over the room. But he has his teeny tiny area for his video gaming so don't worry!

Very messy very unorganized scrapbooking corner.

Well Troy and I are off to our "date" afternoon. Then braving church again tonight. Wish us and ME luck!
