around here lately

So I haven't been too good with posting. Not sure why.

Hmm..I had a cold..check.

I almost broke my neck on heels..check.

IV iron treatments..double check.

Mentally getting ready for Troy on the streets...ongoing check.

Getting back to organizing and getting the family back on schedule...CHECK!

Just alot going on around here as usual and I really have no time for sitting on the computer as much as I would like. I have been reading alot on my Kindle and I am in love with that thing. Replaced my computer time for sure but in a good way.

The apps are awesome too and keep me in check for fitness and eating. I even started Vampire Diaries all over again on Netflix. The Kindle rocks.

I've been sticking to my daily and weekly lists and it sure pays off. No more hours of cleaning or reminding the kids to do what I ask of them. I get so much help and no complaining or fighting with each other.

This system has alot to do with it.

We already had family dinner rules established and since that worked like a charm we knew this would too. Tattling was a big thing around here and that was the next thing to tackle after getting these rules down first.

each of their buckets to hold tickets

After I made these Troy cut every single one out and used a hole punch to make them look more like tickets. My awesome hubby :)

They get tickets to turn in for different things when following the rules.

It's working like a charm and they even catch themselves and remind each other.

Not that it's 100% perfect..the tattling is the big issue.

I've also been crazy stressed busy with this scary area and working on re-organizing to fit in new crap.

it has become a dumping ground and really does not get you in a creative mode.

Troy did put up the rail and basket for me after Jamie and I ran..rather walked because nobody is gonna kick us out..through IKEA to find out my bins were discontinued!!!! But the cute half off Dollar spot at Target bins are perfect and cuter!

battling the menu at Old Spaghetti Factory once again. But when my Dad calls up to take us all out we can't say no!

Mila super excited about starting school back up. She named all of her friends on the drive there. Her teacher said she is having a ball playing with the girls in her class. We were so worried because all she knows is her brothers and boy stuff really so to hear this was awesome! I know she will do great in Kinder.

And because my husband is awesome and the only one who gives baths and helps shower the kids..this is what we do while waiting.

take pictures that look like we have growths on our necks!

And before I get calls or emails about my hubby doing this all by himself...he doesn't complain. I help with jammies after and blow dry that massive mountain of hair on Mila's head. Troy puts medicine on Brandon though too so I SUPPOSE he does do it all.

Thanks babe. You know I love you.

But we were bored that night.

I don't know what face Damian is making and why on Earth I am holding my er..chest?

So that's what we've been up to.

This week is crazy but I'm looking forward to Troy having a 5 day weekend!

And gallivanting around Roseville with Jamie after my fitting. Williams-Sonoma here.we.come.

....
