So I thought I'd share the past few weeks. Pretty pic heavy. Try and smash as many pics as I can onto here. It's hard to pick ones out because I love them all. Especially of the kids.
Speaking of SMASHing. Unless you are a crafty chick like me you won't know what the heck this is. Someone asked me what it was when we were out shopping and I was buying things for my Smashbook. Or Project Life. Or layouts. It's hard to juggle 3.
I have almost filled one of my books and am going to start another. My plan is to have 5 total for each kid to have one when I'm long gone.
A Smash book is basically a place that you can put in whatever you want. Some peeps treat it as a journal, scrapbook, junk journal whatever. I use it for ME. First time too. I scrapbook for my family but this is all me. Where I put pics of things I like, memorabilia and I started making pages with more photographs. I LOVE IT.
Ever since I was young I liked cutting pictures of mags and making collages and saving every little piece of memorabilia.
I'm a part of a fun group online and we do swaps, send each other stuff for our books and just share our books with each other. Cool beans :)
Love love love doing these books.
Yesterday was Max's water day at school. I swore when Brandon had this in Kinder it was much more calm. Max loves water but not in his face. He likes to control the amount of water being put on him so this was an interesting day and I felt for him. He wanted to just lay calmly in the pools but of course kids are gonna splash around. So he vocally let people know to stop splashing him!
But when the water balloons came out watch out! He was all over that.
They have a game where the parents toss the balloons back and forth to their kid but this time?? It turned into a war. I kid you not. Mila and I got pelted in the face and another Mom and I were running for cover. It was CRAZY!!! The adults were getting a little too out of hand so we backed off. Max was in the middle and loved it! I told Troy next year when it's Mila's turn he is going. I amnot going to fend for myself.

made my teacher's gifts extra cheesy this year! For Damian's teacher I put Hershey's and a magnet with a pic of the two of them inside.
Damian's aide Lucille is a God send. Tried to stick with a lemonade theme and put Crystal Light raspberry lemonade inside of the cup.
traditional frames for the other teachers.
We will miss them but Mila will have Max's teacher this year who by the way is obsessed with my daughter every time she sees her! Guess it'll be a good year! I'll be in the class every week helping and I'm actually excited about it. Finally get to help consistently.

speaking of obsessed. This is why I am sick. No protein because I eat sweet peppers and hummus for every meal. Addicted. Sorry for the random pic.

Damian got another Honor Roll award. My kids rock!!!

Damian and Lucille
Looking forward to our break until we start Kinder, 1st, 3rd and 6th grade! Yikes!
We celebrated Father's Day at my Dad's with another yummy BBQ. We are a BBQing family this year. I love it.

Mila was posing for us in the fireplace

can Matthew ever be serious??

Another fun day.

Mila eating her noodles like a dog.
Max is loving soccer. But he likes relaxing when he's goalie.
Or checkin out his new 'fit
I have pictures of Troy with Brandon and Eric in the same pose. Coach Dad.
This was the 105 degree day. It wasn't that hot when we were there but it was starting to heat up. I felt so bad for the kids so I ran out the next day and picked up one of these.

best moola I ever threw down.
It'll be great for the beach too. They have been having movie days under it and it fills up half of the living room but it's ok. It's a nice quiet break ;)
Damian was in his last play in 5th grade. He played a British soldier and by the red jacket we knew he was the enemy.
wasn't too thrilled he had to wear a super hot hat and jacket
Damian had a Dads and Donuts Day at school. Troy said they had a blast playing games with the other families out on the field and then munching on donuts and juice. Troy jumps on any chance he can get when it comes to things like this. Damian was so excited he was there. Troy only got a few pics because he was having so much fun.
A few more random of pics of our everyday life around here.
dinner with our cousin
board game crazy over here
made Mila a new flower holder
chillin at the doc with Brandon
good times!!

A ton of pics and they are all so special and great. I tried to do the smashbook thing and I couldn't get into it. Maybe I should drag it back out. I'm a scrapper all the way!!!!! And hummus and pita chips or sweet peppers or cucumbers are my favorite snack. Tomorrow night I am doing homemade hummus with nan bread with dinner. I'll eat some for you!!
Love reading about all the activities! Hope you have a great time in Santa Cruz!!
Thanks for sharing. It was so nice to be able to see all these pics. It was so crazy noisy living right next to the kinder water day, lol. Both classes where appropriately just as loud as each other. Can't wait to be a part of it next year :) So many good memories to reflect back on these pics. Not sure why but I think I would be more into a smashbook than a regular them because you don't have to be all "traditional". Sounds fun! You have been busy girl :)
