Well the New Year is approaching and people make goals and rarely stick to them.
Me included.
Well I made a goal to be more organized last year and I did it but not to the effect that I was hoping for. I don't have alot of goals this year but I would like to continue what I do and fine tune it.
I have wanted a Filofax for the longest time but just used a binder at home for all my organizing and lists, etc. Plus those suckers are pricey and I was given the chance to get one but I passed..like a dummy!
But I decided to go with the Martha Stewart half binder. I stood in Staples for an hour with that system and the Arc system.
Martha done it again and won me over.
I needed something portable and that offered alot of options for the inside. I love that it's small. And cute.
2013 is going to be a busy year for our family and I am going to be armed! Is it sad that I am excited to start scribbling in my calendar, post all my notes and start dividing my priorities up? Probably not since I found a community of crazy planning women like myself!
I'd also like to organize my craft area. This table is all around the net and it's a simple tabletop with bookshelves. Have been hinting to hubby for awhile ;)
I have been full force crafting and meeting so many awesome people along the way. I participated in a Santa swap online and got the funnest package in the mail to rip open. Making more videos and running out of space in my room. I've been rearranging and buying some more things to organize but I haven't found the perfect set up yet.
Another area is keeping up with our finance binder.
But this year I am going to amp it up a little. Make it more functional.
shopping on Etsy to find a cute wallet system this time around for our cash. No credit cards anymore so I need a better cash envelope system. Why not do it in style?
still working on our steps which will take awhile but we WILL get there and it WILL be worth all the sacrifices
Making sure our retirement years are GOLDEN!
Lots of house projects this year I have on my future to do list and just another area to throw in my new planner.
Troy and I have been talking about a homework station ever since we toyed with the idea of homeschooling. Which I still haven't completely ruled out. Depends on which way our school handles the upcoming curriculum changes too.
But even if we don't homeschool any of our kids I still think a station is good for the 4 in school.
love these ideas and it would work great in our family room
We have a setup around our dinner table with everyone having there own shelves and areas but this would be much more easier and quieter.

2013 is going to be a great year I can just feel it.
Yes we will have challenges. Yes I have another surgery. Yes we will start middle school. But it's those challenges that pull us together as a family and make us even closer than we already are.
I'm blessed that our challenges don't come between my marriage. It makes us stronger together and for that I am grateful.
Happy 2013!
