Posting 2 days in a row?? I must be ill.
Last night we celebrated Max's birthday with the usual guests. Max told everybody all day that he was 6 and is going to be in first grade and his teacher is Mrs. Adams. Can we make it through Kinder first please?
I attempted something new. I thought creating my own cake design would be the coolest thing for Max. Hah. I need to stick to my day job.
He wanted a Minecraft cake. He wants Minecraft anything. As I type this him and Brandon have shirts drying that I painted with Creeper faces. Don't ask.
Well let's just say the cake looks like the Creeper barfed it up. Max and the kids loved it but I think I need to perfect my skills for Brandon's cake. Plus learn how to keep green and blue dye out of my nails, eyes and neck. Again do not ask.
Eric was home for the festivities and it's a rare shot to see him these days in my blog. Also rare to see him at the dinner table!!!
Mila pooped before the party even began
I told Mila to make a sign for Max. She pulled up her chair and wrote this instead on the board. Works for me.
Troy was a little late to the party because it was picture day at work. The kids wanted to try his hat on course.
Now as you can see in the shot above my brother is whispering something to Eric and he is looking straight at me
I really should have known. My brother is notorious for posing crazy in the back of people's shots. Mine especially. Do you know how many cross-eyed photos I have of him?? Well he got Eric in on it as Max was blowing out his candle!
This morning was filled with Legos. The boys can sit for hours and build castles, Minecraft scenes and even Plants vs. Zombies. This is one toy I love having in the house. An organization system is in the works!
Brandon and Damian can follow directions themselves but Max will take it to a whole new level and create something else. So I had to step in for Troy who usually does these with him. It was so fun! I forgot how fun they can be when you are busy mainly cursing under your breath that you stepped on yet another Lego.
I've sort of strayed from protein being number one for me as far as eating meals. You can get tired real quick of meat and seafood. Not a huge tuna fan but I found seasoned tuna awhile back for almost 4 bucks a can!
My new find! I only like the lemon one and I nearly screamed when I saw these for $1.56! Plus you KNOW I had coupons.
I ditch the crackers or give them to the kids.
I eat mine on what Troy calls cardboard. To each his own.
With all the Lego building I think Mila was feeling a little left out and needed some girly time.
Enter the plastic nail stage! She got these Tangled nails for Xmas and we forgot all about them. She is being so careful not to break her nails so I have had to feed her lunch, pull her pants up, brush her teeth and channel surf for her.
She is frantically looking for her pinkie nail right now.
I wanted to post pictures of my hair after my day at the salon. Glad I took these pictures because I cannot for the life of me replicate this hairdo!!! Do you know irritated I am? I have bought and returned 2 flat irons, thought maybe another curling iron would be better and then my Mom gave me a good iron I need to try tonight. I'm hoping I can catch it again this Friday.

Just have those people teach you how it is done this friday :) Bring a photo to them and say here's what I'm shooting for, show me how it's done. I saw this lady one time in the mall and her hair was like that and so cute. I asked her if she used a curling iron and she said that she used a straightening iron. I was caught off guard but she said it was mostly the technique. Your mom is so sweet to try and help you get the style on :) I'm sure they loved the cake! Love the christmas wrapping paper.
